GETTING TO TAVEUNI
Taveuni has a domestic airstrip at Matei, on the northernmost tip of the island. There are regular scheduled flights to Matei from the main island of Fiji (Viti Levu) on a daily basis, from both of Fiji's two international airports - Nausori Airport (Suva) and the main gateway into Fiji, Nadi International Airport.

INTER-ISLAND FERRY SERVICES:
Inter-Island ferry takes 10 to 12 hours from Suva, stopping at Savusavu on the island of Vanua Levu en route. The service offers both passenger, vehicle and cargo services. The ferry port on Taveuni is located between the towns of Waiyevo and Wairiki. The ferry service is often used by local residents and resort owners to bring in supplies from the mainland.
